KUMITE GRAND CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Directors for this event have decided
to eliminate the following black belt kumite divisions:
Men 169lbs and under (GC76)
Men 170lbs and over (GC77)
Women 144lbs and over (GC78)
Women 145lbs and over (GC79)
As a result of these eliminations, any black belt kumite division winner
can now qualify for the grand championship round. Those individuals who
have entered into one of the preceding eliminated divisions will be
placed in the appropriate division that corresponds to their age, rank,
and weight. As such, each division winner will compete in a run off to
determine the overall grand champion for kumite. These changes will
apply to all male and female adult black belt competitors.
